Inspired by a concept rooted in addiction medicine, this ring is more than form — it's a reflection on awareness. The design takes its name from “Mind the Gap: Validation of the Addiction Medicine Training Needs Assessment Scale,” a PhD thesis of my father in law, which focused on identifying and addressing gaps in medical education around addiction. It’s about recognizing what’s missing and actively shaping what comes next.
That same philosophy is echoed in the ring’s form: a solid, circular band interrupted by an intentional void, a sculptural space that symbolizes what’s often unseen or unspoken. It’s a reminder to pause, notice the gap, and respond with clarity.
Modern and quietly provocative, this ring is a wearable question: What are we overlooking and how can we fill the space with intention?

Just a heads up - this piece is made to order, please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery. Each item starts with pure 24k yellow gold, to which I add fine silver and copper to create an 18k gold alloy.
